Edward Steinberg. The Earth and the Sky. Reflections in Paints

E. Steinberg's exhibition (July – October 2004, The State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg , The State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow) was marked by the release of a new catalogue "Edward Steinberg. The Earth and the Sky. Reflections in Paints".

The catalogue includes oeuvres of various periods: from early painting experiences through famous geometry abstractions of 1970 – 1980 to quite recent works of the Paris period. An interesting commentary to the material is offered in the articles by Hans-Peter Rize and Eugene Barabanov as well as in E. Steinberg's "Letter to K.S. Malevich".
